Earlier this season, RMC [via the Daily Star] suggested that two unnamed EPL sides were keen on the France international, who has previously attracted interest from Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal.

However, according to reports in Italy, Roma have made Digne one of their key transfer targets for this summer.

The full-back has endured a tough season in Ligue 1, where despite picking up a French championship title, he has largely been a back-up option for Brazil international Maxwell.

Despite making 14 appearances, Giallorossi sporting director Walter Sabatini is still keen on Digne, according to Sky Sports Italia, via le Corriere dello Sport, and is looking to recruit him to work alongside French coach Rudi Garcia, who oversaw the player’s development at LOSC Lille.

Digne was signed by Paris in the summer of 2013 for €15 million. It remains to be seen if any of his erstwhile Premier League suitors will look to return for the 21-year-old this summer.
