Newcastle United ready Man United winger bid

Newcastle United are ready to make a move to sign Man United winger Jesse Lingard according to ESPN.

Magpies boss Steve McClaren brought the Old Trafford attacker to Derby County on a loan spell last term and is keen to once again acquire his services.

ESPN believe that the St James’ Park side will look to sign Lingard on a permanent basis and it’s fair to say that currently the former England Under 21 international will have his work cut out trying to force his way into Louis van Gaal’s starting eleven.

Lingard will be behind the likes of Memphis Depay, Juan Mata, Ashley Young and Adnan Januzaj in van Gaal’s pecking order, assuming that Angel di Maria is sold to PSG, and as such the Man United man may well have to think long and hard about where his future is best served.
