There is some potentially devastating Chelsea injury news this morning as it looks like number one goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois could miss a month of action with a knee problem.
The Belgian international picked up the injury in training this week and is now set for one of the first serious layoffs of his career so far, according to a report in The Sun.
In such superb form for the Blues last season, Courtois replaced Petr Cech as the club’s first choice ‘keeper, prompting the club to allow the experienced shot-stopper to move to rivals Arsenal.

Asmir Begovic will now fill in for Courtois, but does not look as reliable an option as Cech would have and continues this nightmare start to the season for the Premier League champions.
