Liverpool ‘could pay as much as £30m for transfer of TERRIBLE striker’

Reds fans will be furious at this – what is Rodgers doing??

Liverpool may end up paying around £30m in total for signing Mario Balotelli from AC Milan last summer, according to extraordinary latest reports.

The Italian international cost the Reds an initial £16m when he moved from the San Siro to Anfield, and has been on very high wages at the club as Brendan Rodgers clearly made a massive error in judgement in pushing through this risky deal.

Liverpool continue to pay the bulk of Balotelli’s wages as he spends this season back on loan at Milan, according to the Daily Mirror, meaning he may eventually cost the club £30m in total.

It is not yet clear if the 25-year-old will leave Merseyside permanently next summer, but he surely has no place in Rodgers’ plans for the near future.
