Arsenal midfield target eyes Real Madrid exit in January

Real Madrid midfielder Isco could be set for a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu after the Daily Express reported that he is looking for a change of scenery in the new year.

The Spanish international has seen his playing time diminish since Carlo Ancelotti left over the summer, and has now apparently fallen down the pecking order under Rafa Benitez (via Express).

The 23-year-old is currently vying for a starting spot with the likes of Mateo Kovacic, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and James Rodriguez, and as such has only managed to make 12 appearances across all competitions so far this term.

And now, Spanish publication Sport is claiming that the player is keen on a ‘change of scenery’ when the transfer window opens in January.

The Express reports that both Arsenal and Chelsea have been linked with his signature recently, though they will likely have to pay around £32.5m to secure his signature.
