Chelsea: Underperforming star offered La Liga escape

Chelsea striker Radamel Falcao has been a far cry away from the back-to-back 20+ goal scoring machine he was at Atletico Madrid. With just five league goals in the last two seasons with Manchester United and Chelsea, he may have found a way out the Premier League – as long as he’s willing to pay for it.

According to the Daily Mail, Inter Milan are willing to sign Falcao in January provided he is willing to take a pay cut. The source reported that due to the Serie A giant’s reduced revenue, they would need to fix their budget to make a deal with Falcao.

Falcao is currently on loan to Chelsea from AS Monaco but is having even less success at Stamford Bridge than he did last season with Manchester United. Through the first 11 games of the season, Falcao has just one goal; he had four goals in 26 total appearances for Man United last season.

Falcao’s former manager Andre Villas-Boas denied having the means to reunite with his former FC Porto superstar at his current club, Zenit St. Petersburg.
