Manchester United‘s Ashley Young has something of a reputation for being a master of darker arts of the game.
No! We’re not talking about scything someone down with a ferocious tackle or tacking his aggression out on an unwitting victim…Young is one of football’s best-known divers.
Except, while the likes of Arjen Robben and Jurgen Klinsmann regularly conned referees with their simulation, Young is less accomplished.
The winger is regularly caught out for attempting to con the referee, and in fact, it seems like Young’s actions earn the opponents far more set pieces than United.

He was at it again against CSKA Moscow in Champions League action on Tuesday evening, following a collision with Georgi Schennikov.

The incident came 15 minutes before the end of the match, and while the referee opted not to book the England international, he refused to give the attacking midfielder the benefit of the doubt either.
