Arsenal midfielder updated reporters at Fox News before the club’s Champions League clash with Dinamo Zagreb on his status as he continues to fight back from his latest injury.

The midfielder featured throughout the club’s pre-season campaign, but suffered a foot injury before the Premier League campaign got underway.

And before Tuesday night’s game, he caught up with American TV cameras to confirm that his recovery from this latest setback was going well, but he refused to put a definitive return date.

With so many injuries rocking the Arsenal squad at the moment, his return to fitness would come as a huge boost.

At present he is joined on the sidelines by Francis Coquelin, Mikel Arteta, Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Tomas Rosicky, meaning Arsene Wenger will likely dip into the transfer market in the new year.
