Chelsea legend offered deal with Turkish giants

Longtime Chelsea defender John Terry has been far from the stalwart that led the club to the Premier League title last year. Whether it is physical or mental, Terry just hasn’t been the back the team has needed and it has cost Chelsea dearly. Changes could very well be coming to Stamford Bridge in the coming months and if Terry gets caught on the outside looking in, at least one club appears ready to offer him a deal.

According to Turkish-Football, Super Lig giants Galasataray are prepared to offer Terry a 1.5-year deal when his contract with Chelsea expires at the end of the season. The club currently ranks fourth in Turkey and is managed by Mustafa Denizli

Terry has started 11 matches for Chelsea this season and has been the starting centre-back for all of the team’s four wins. However, the Chelsea defence has still allowed at least two goals in 10 of their 16 Premier League fixtures.

The 34-year-old defender has never played for any team other than Chelsea and is one of the most decorated stars in club history, winning four Premier League titles, five FA Cup trophies, the Champions League and the Europa League during his career.
