Serie A giants to meet agent of Manchester United star this week

AC Milan will reportedly meet with Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini’s agent this week with a view of signing him this month.

The Rossoneri are interested in bringing in the Belgian international to bolster their midfield, although the two clubs have yet to reach an agreement with United rejecting a loan offer.

However, Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani will meet with his representative this week to discuss a possible deal and determine whether or not an agreement can be reached.

It is claimed that the Italian side would prefer to secure a loan move with an option to buy, according to Calciomercato, as noted by Football Italia.

However, the Red Devils are only interested in selling outright, and with their valuation said to be around £19m, it is making it difficult for the deal to be done with Milan unwilling to pay that fee.

As a result, it remains to be seen whether or not Fellaini gets his move to Italy, as he continues to play a bit-part role at Old Trafford this season.

Meanwhile, Milan are expected to sell several fringe players first in order to make space in the squad for new arrivals, with coach Sinisa Mihajlovic still pushing to try and qualify for the Champions League next season.
