Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund have reportedly made an approach to sign young Chelsea midfielder Bertrand Traore on loan, according to French publication Foot Mercato.
Traore has only four appearances in the Blues’ first team this season, but was in prolific form for feeder club Vitesse Arnhem last term, bagging an impressive 17 goals in 36 games, which is believed to have caught the eye of a number of top European clubs.
And Dortmund are one of those keen to land the 20-year-old on an 18-month loan deal, though the French report claims they will have to go up against the likes of Marseille and Hamburg, who are believed to have already made offers to sign the player.
However, Ajax and Vitesse also want to bring him back to the Eredivise, meaning that the Burkina Faso international will likely go where he is guaranteed to play the most minutes.
