According to reports in Turkey, mooted Manchester United target Simon Kjaer will not be leaving Fenerbahce any time soon.

Speaking to Turkish Football, Mikkel Beck, the former Middlesbrough forward and the defender’s representative has insisted that his client isn’t looking to leave the Super Lig heavyweights anytime soon.

“Simon has had a fantastic season, so I understand, that you get a lot of rumours, but as his agent I have heard nothing,” Beck began.

“Simon is only focused on Fenerbahce and helping the club to win the title that they deserve,” he continued. “He’s happy at Fenerbahce and is not looking for a new club.”

The defender’s fine form in Istanbul this season follows after a series of excellent campaigns in Ligue 1 with LOSC Lille, AS Roma and Palermo in Serie A, and with Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga.

Kjaer only moved to Fener in 2015, but already rumours have linked him with a move away from the club.

According to Turkish source Fanatik, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid are all understood to be keen on the stopper, and while it may be that the Danish international isn’t keen on leaving Turkey, Fener are understood to be willing to sell him if any of his suitors offer €15 million for his services.
