PSG want Arsenal scoring machine as Zlatan replacement

Despite having an off-year, Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez has proven more than effective even when not playing at 100-percent. PSG have apparently taken notice of this and have expressed interest in adding the Chilean scoring machine to their ranks ahead of one of their prized star’s departure.

According to The Independent, PSG are viewing Alexis Sanchez as a potential replacement for outgoing striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic with manager Laurent Blanc being very fond of the 27-year-old Arsenal ace.

Arsenal are expected to offer Sanchez a contract extension in the offseason this two years after signing him from Barcelona prior to the 2014-15 season.

Sanchez has 12 goals and 10 assists this season after scoring 25 in all competitions last year – leading Arsenal in the category and earning PFA Team of the Year honours. However, he has been hampered by injuries for large chunks of the season, missing three months of action in November and struggling to regain form as Arsenal have toiled at third place on the table.
