The results of Euro 2016 Group C are in:
Germany and Poland will advance to the Round of 16. Germany finished first while Poland finished second.
Northern Ireland finished third but have a very strong chance of going to the next round by virtue of their point total.
Ukraine have been eliminated.

Germany held their three opponents scoreless, beating Ukraine in their first match before settling for a scoreless draw against Poland. By beating Northern Ireland 1-0 on Tuesday they secured the top spot in Group C. They will face an undetermined third-place team in the Round of 16.
Poland knocked off Northern Ireland and Ukraine but fell just a few goals short of taking first place from Germany. They will face Switzerland in the Round of 16 – the only determined match so far.
Northern Ireland are in second place on the third-place rankings as of writing thanks to their win over Ukraine. The key scenario in which they would not advance from third-place will be if both the Czech Republic and Sweden win their final matches.
Ukraine lost all three of their matches after failing to score a goal. Their -5 goal differential is the worst in the tournament as of writing.
