Hull City have joined in the race to sign Aston Villa’s England international defender Micah Richards according to the Mirror.
The report states that the Tigers are keen to bolster their defensive options as they look to avoid relegation from the Premier League following a positive start to the season.
Hull have won their opening two games of the 2016-17 season despite being down to down to 11 fit senior outfield players. Per-the-source, Hull City boss Mike Phelan wants to sign Villa defender Micah Richards.
Meanwhile, Trabzonspor are also in talks with Villa over the transfer of the Richards. Sources close to the club have Caught-Offside’s Eren Sarigul that Trabzonspor want to sign the 28-year-old on a season-long deal.
Richards provided one assists and scored two goals in 28 appearances for Villa last season but was unable to help his side avoid relegation form the Premier League. Villa are currently in the Championship and take on Bristol City this weekend.
