England manager Sam Allardyce has stated that he is relived following England’s 1-0 victory over Slovakia this evening.
The former Sunderland boss got off to a winning start after Adam Lallana scored the games only goal in the 90+5 minute.
Allardyce would have come under early pressure had his side been able to defeat a ten-man Slovakia. The hosts were a man down after Martin Skrtel saw red for stamping on Harry Kane’s leg.
