Arsenal face Southampton this evening at the Emirates as they look to progress to the semi-finals of the EFL Cup.
The competition offers a genuine opportunity for Arsene Wenger’s side to win a piece of silverware this campaign. Despite what is at stake, however, there appears to be plenty of empty seats at the Emirates tonight.
It is difficult to blame Gunners fans for not wanting to sit in the freezing cold for an hour and a half on a Tuesday night, but this is no different to what Manchester City are often panned for.
At the Emirates. Freezing day + League Cup = plenty of empty seats in upper tiers and corporate tier less than half full pic.twitter.com/kJckRShRbA
