The report also notes that the Gunners only has one year left on his current contract, meaning that he will able to leave for nothing next summer if they club don’t tie him down to a new deal, something they’re surely desperate to do considering just how good Ramsey is.

Ramsey could be set to leave the club next summer for nothing if he doesn’t sign a new deal

Losing Aaron Ramsey for nothing next year, especially to one of Chelsea or Man United, would be a huge blow for Unai Emery’s side, as the former Cardiff City star proven to be a pivotal part of Arsenal’s side these past few years.

The midfielder showed how indispensable he is the Gunners last year, as he bagged a total of 11 goals and 12 assists in all competitions as his side slumped to a poor sixth-placed finish in the league.

Only time will tell if the Gunners are able to get Ramsey to agree a new deal with the club, or whether they’ll lose the player for absolutely nothing next year.
