Newcastle United mainstay Bruno Guimaraes could be on the move in the upcoming summer transfer window given the amount of interest in his services.
According to Edu Burgos via Rudy Galetti, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool are all keen on having the defensive midfielder in their ranks.
Guimaraes was a statement signing by the Magpies back in the winter of 2022. He was integral to their sensational season last time out which helped them return to the Champions League. While the team’s overall performances have gone down this term, the 26-year-old is still performing at a high level.
His impressive performances have caught the attention of multiple clubs and those clubs will knock on the door in the summer. While Newcastle have no intentions to sanction his departure, there is a £100 million release clause in his new deal that he penned down towards the end of last year. If one of the clubs triggers his release, the Magpies won’t have a say.

Manchester United are looking for someone who can pair up with Kobbie Mainoo and eventually replace Casemiro. They feel Guimaraes could be a great addition to their ranks but will have to improve their finances before making a move.
Chelsea are always on the lookout for players who can further improve their squad and they feel the Brazilian will not only bolster their ranks but he will also help the youngster around him.
Liverpool underwent a midfield overhaul last summer. It has done wonders for them as they are back at their best and competing for the league title. But, they do need a new defensive midfielder to complete the overhaul and Guimaraes is one of the names on their radar.
