Tottenham Hotspur will have to fork out over £60 million to sign Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace.

Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze has made quite a name for himself with impressive performances over the past few seasons. He has eight goals and five assists to his name in all competitions this season.

The 25-year-old’s displays haven’t gone unnoticed and he is on the radar of top clubs like Tottenham. The Eagles are safe from relegation and they are under no pressure to sell any of their key players at the end of the season. However, they are aware of the fact that top clubs could knock on their door for the services of Eze.

They have placed a price tag of £60 million on the 25-year-old as per a report from BBC. The Eagles managed to tie him down to a new deal towards the end of last year and his contract runs until the summer of 2027 which means Palace will have the upper hand in any negotiations.

Tottenham keen on Eberechi Eze

Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur are quite keen on signing the England international, according to a report from Football Transfers. They are on the lookout for players who can add more firepower to their attack and Eze could be a great fit for them.

He could provide cover for James Maddison centrally and feature on either flank as well. Spurs have intensified their efforts to sign the 25-year-old and they have invited his family members to attend the North London Derby against Arsenal as special guests on Sunday.

While Manchester City are also interested in his services, the player would prefer a move to Tottenham because of family ties. With the Eagles looking for a minimum of £60 million, it will be interesting to see if Spurs decide to pay up for the versatile attacker this summer.
