New custodian set to make Hawthorns move.
Check in to Liverpool vs West Bromwich Albion
West Brom have reportedly agreed a £4m deal to sign Scottish international keeper Allan McGregor according to the Scotsman.
The former Rangers custodian was strongly linked with a loan move to the Premier League side last month but a deal was not forthcoming.
Besiktas apparently blocked McGregor from leaving the club until the end of the season, with the Turkish side chasing a Champions League berth.
Turkish media believe a deal has been completed and McGregor will leave at the end of the current season after just 12 months with Besiktas.
McGregor has been a virtual ever present between the sticks at Besiktas and is kept a clean sheet during Scotland’s midweek win over Estonia, Gordon Strachan’s first match in charge.
The Edinburgh born keeper spent 14 years at Rangers and racked up 278 appearances securing three SPL titles in the process.
