Fiorentina team-mate advises against move to Arsenal.
Arsenal have been rocked by another of Stevan Jovetic’s team mates advising him against a move to the Emirates according to The Daily Mail.
Luca Toni advised the Montenegrin striker to spurn the advances of the Gunners, insisting they were no bigger than his current club Fiorentina.
Now former Manchester City defender Stefan Savic has joined the debate once again advising the forward to reject Arsenal in favour of a move to Manchester City.
Jovetic is one of the most highly sought after strikers in Europe after an impressive season with Fiorentina where he has scored twelve goals in 24 games in Serie A.
Those performances have seen a number of clubs linked with the £20 million rated hitman.
Arsenal were thought to be in pole position for the player’s signature after Jovetic admitted he would be tempted by a move to the North London club.
But the Gunners’ hopes have been dashed after it emerged that Manchester City were ready to make a big money move to Jovetic to tempt him to offer his services to the Etihad club instead.
There now appears to be a queue of Jovetic’s team-mates urging him to turn down the prospect of joining Arsene Wenger’s squad.
