Papiss Cisse Targeted By Racist Thugs On Twitter

St James’ Park ace targeted by Racist bullies during charity fund raising drive.

Newcastle United striker Papiss Cisse found himself on the receiving end of racist abuse over Twitter, the Daily Mirror reports.

Cisse, 27, and his girlfriend, Rachelle Graham, were targeted after performing a sponsored sky dive to raise money for new ambulances in his native Senegal.

However, a website set up specifically to target mixed race couples attacked the event and soon after a bogus Twitter account was set up in Rachelle Graham’s name, which began sending racist messages to friends and wives of several of Newcastle’s stars.

The 22-year-old Graham is the current Miss Newcastle spoke of her shock at the incident; “At first the messages came from a US website which targets white people who are going out with black people. The person behind that may also have set up the fake Twitter account in my name. It was made to look as much like mine as possible, using my photos and virtually the same address,” she said.

“I am totally sickened by it. I cannot believe someone that would do this.”

The cloned account, @grahamracheLLe, has now been suspended and police are investigating the hateful website. Her real account, @GrahamRachelle, has over 1,600 followers.

Cisse has claimed to have suffered from racial abuse in the past, though he has not commented on this particular incident.
