Left-back has no plans to leave San Siro.
The agent of Inter Milan left-back Alvaro Pereira says his client is not currently interested in a move to Tottenham, according to talkSPORT.
Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas is keen to recruit a new left-back this summer, with the futures of Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Danny Rose currently up in the air.
Pereira has been identified as a main target, as Villas-Boas knows the Uruguayan from their time at Porto together. The Portuguese coach was also interested in bringing him to Chelsea last season when he was manager at Stamford Bridge.
However, the 27-year-old joined Inter instead, and despite being in and out of the side, his agent Flavio Perchman has said he has no plans to leave the club, as he may find more first team football under incoming manager Walter Mazzarri, who tried to sign him for former club Napoli.
“I read so many stories about Tottenham, but personally I know nothing about it,” he said. “He has a contract with Inter and intends to respect it.
“Talking about Alvaro’s future is premature. We’ll see what happens over the summer and I’ll speak with both the player and the club to evaluate the situation.
“Walter Mazzarri knows him and what he can give to Inter. Napoli had already been tracking Pereira and Mazzarri knows him and what he can give to Inter from his time at Porto.
“We’ll see if when the former Napoli coach arrives it will help the lad to provide more consistent performances.”
Tottenham have also been tracking Southampton starlet Luke Shaw, the 17-year-old left-back who has made quite an impression in the Premier League this season, also attracting interest from Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal.
