AVB edges closer to landing his man.
Italian giants Inter Milan have reportedly told Tottenham Hotspur that they can have Fredy Guarin for £21 million, the Mirror reports.
The Serie A side claimed that they had rejected a bid of £17 million from the north London side earlier this week after saying that he was not for sale at all, but they have now apparently changed their minds by insisting he can leave if the price is right.
And it is thought that Spurs will stretch the extra £4 million as both player and manager, Andre Villas-Boas, would like to work with each other again after spending time together at Porto.
Guarin was a key member of the Portuguese squad that won the Europa League in 2011 and Villas-Boas, who is expected to reject the chance to manage PSG, is keen to land his man.
The move could pave the way out of the club for Scott Parker, who only saw so much playing time last term in the absence of Tom Huddlestone and Sandro.
Parker will be 33 in October and appears to be on the chopping board at White Heart Lane as Villas-Boas looks to revamp his squad after narrowly missing out on Champions League qualification at the hands of rivals Arsenal.
