Stevan Jovetic – Manchester City
Following the sale of Carlos Tevez with fellow striker Edin Dzeko rumoured to follow suit with an exit from the club this summer, Manchester City want to sign Stevan Jovetic with the aim that they overtake Manchester United and Chelsea in the Premier League title race. The Montenegrin is available for £25million this summer, and both City and Arsenal have expressed an interest in signing the Fiorentina man. Manchester City lost the league race last term because they lacked the attacking flair they expressed so vividly in 2011/12. Having already added Jesus Navas to interrogate full-backs on the right, Jovetic can easily slot in as a left-forward or the focal point of the attack, seeing Sergio Aguero playing a deeper role. His finishing prowess and versatility makes him ideal for their 4231 formation in place under new manager Manuel Pellegrini, this addition could put them over the edge.
