Man City are said to be looking for willing buyers for a trio of talents who did not travel with the Etihad Stadium side for their pre-season friendly with Arsenal this weekend according to the Daily Mail.
Having spent upwards of £90m on new additions Chilean boss Manuel Pellegrini is looking to trim his expansive squad and will hope to secure exits to help reduce the club’s massive wage bill.
Experienced England international Gareth Barry is now an unwanted commodity at the club following the addition of Fernandinho to the Man City squad and Stoke City and Arsenal are both said to be interested in the 32 year old though no offer as yet has been made for the former Aston Villa man, who has just a year to run on his current contract.
Winger Scott Sinclair is also surplus to requirements and though West Brom, Newcastle United and Everton are all keen on the 24 year old Man City are still yet to receive a concrete offer for the attacker.
However it does appear that the third player said to be on his way out, Spanish Under 20 international Denis Suarez, is the subject of real interest with Barcelona known to be keen on the 19 year old.
Man City have managed to release Kolo Toure, Wayne Bridge and Roque Santa Cruz whilst also cashing in on Carlos Tevez and Maicon, who left for Juventus and Roma respectively. However Pellegrini still has a fair few players he can afford to lose before the summer transfer window slams shut.
