4. Yaya Toure (£24m from Barcelona)

Yaya has scored 20 times for City, the most important of which coming in the 1-0 win over Stoke City in the 2011 FA Cup final, winning City their first major trophy in 35 years. Yaya has been nominated for the 2013 FIFA Ballon d’Or award.

3. Mario Balotelli (£24.5m from Internazionale)

Balotelli made a very big impact at City during his time there, with his off the pitch antics often landing him in trouble with then manager Mancini. Balotelli has scored a total of 20 goals in 54 appearances, scoring his first goal for City on his debut against Politehnica Timisoara.
