Napoli Want Man City Flop

Serie A side want Etihad Stadium midfielder.

Check in to Manchester City vs Swansea City

Napoli are reportedly tracking Man City midfielder Javi Garcia according to talkSPORT.

The Spanish international has become something of a bit-part player at the Etihad Stadium but is apparently happy to remain at the club to fight for his place though his path to starting eleven berth is blocked by Fernandinho and Yaya Toure so the 26 year old may well be better off looking at leaving Man City.

Man City paid Benfica £17m but may accept a lesser sum from Serie A side Napoli, with Rafa Benitez keen to bring in some extra steel to boost his San Paolo side’s midfield.

Garcia could be further motivated into making a move to Napoli due to the presence of fellow countrymen Pepe Reina, Raul Albiol and Jose Callejon, as well as of course boss Benitez.

Javi Garcia is also able to play as a central defender if required.
