St James’ Park side set to conduct squad re-shuffle.
Newcastle United could be set for a mass exodus this summer with as many as ten first team players linked with a St James’ Park exit according to The Chronicle.
Magpies boss Alan Pardew saw Yohan Cabaye sold to PSG and watched as his side then capitulated in recent weeks, undoing all the club’s positive early season form.
Now Newcastle United may see a number of other talents leave with the likes of Mathieu Debuchy, Hatem Ben Arfa, Papiss Cisse, Sylvain Marveaux and Gabriel Obertan all said to be possible departing stars at the end of the current campaign.
Newcastle United have lost six of their last eight Premier League fixtures, effectively ending any hope of a top four finish that was a viable target a few short weeks ago.
Jonas Gutierrez has also been informed he can join Norwich City on a permanent deal.
Loaned in pair Loic Remy and Luuk de Jong are reportedly unlikely to remain at the North-East club on permanent deals.
And both Shola Ameobi and Dan Gosling will be allowed to leave when their respective contracts come to a close this summer.
Both Romain Amalfitano, on loan at Dijon, and Mehdi Abeid, currently with Panathinaikos, are also likely to be sold.
