3. Steven Caulker
Caulker asked to leave Spurs in search of first team football last summer and, in typical fashion, Daniel Levy decided that Cardiff’s £9m offer was too good to turn down for a third choice centre half. But Spurs have suffered in Caulker’s absence, with Michael Dawson not up to scratch, and Jan Vertonghen, Vlad Chiriches and Younes Kaboul all suffering serious injuries. The Frenchman is likely to leave the club in the summer when his contract expires and Spurs should look to re-sign Caulker, particularly if Cardiff go down.
