The 16-year-old has been making all the headlines back in Portugal after the Super Liga champions signed the starlet from arch rivals Sporting Lisbon last year.

In fact, the player, who was born in Guinea-Bissau, has even been attracting the interest of mega-rich Premier League outfit Manchester City in the recent past as well.

And now it is understood that the north London club have been in contact with the Portuguese giants to register their own interest in the wonder kid, who has still to even make his first-team debut at the Estadio Dragao.

However, the Portugal youth international has though appeared in nine friendly outings for Porto so far in this campaign, during time Cassama has managed to find the back of the net on three occasions.

As a result, both Tottenham and City look set to now go head to head this summer in the battle to win the player’s signature.
