The Brazilian’s public spat with Tim Sherwood has led to suggestions Sandro could seek a summer exit but Spurs must keep hold of the enforcer. With a proper pre-season under his belt, Sandro can return to the level he reached in the first half of last season, where he was as important to Spurs as Gareth Bale. The London outfit have plenty of talented attacking players like Eriksen, Lamela and Adebayor but they need a solid presence like Sandro to provide a base.
