Thomas Ince Turns Down Free Transfer Move to Join Serie A Giants Inter Milan

Thomas Ince has rejected the advances of Serie A side Inter Milan, opting to search for a move to the Premier League after leaving Championship club Blackpool.

Check in to England vs Italy

Ince enjoyed a successful spell on loan at Crystal Palace from January onwards last season, offering a different option to the South London club’s established wide men Yannick Bolasie and Jason Puncheon.

Palace represent a potential destination for Ince, who the Daily Star have reported as having decided to remain in England despite an offer from the Serie A giants for whom his dad also turned out.

The report also suggests that Premier League sides Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United have been alerted to the player’s renewed availability after the expiry of his deal this summer.

Ince’s decision means that Championship side Blackpool will receive compensation from whichever English side he opts to join, something that they would’ve missed out on had he chosen to take the plunge and move to Italy.

The tricky winger began his career at Liverpool, graduating through their academy and enjoying a loan spell at Notts County before joining Blackpool 2011, almost instantaneously becoming one of the Championship’s most exciting performers.
