Tottenham have been linked with a possible summer move for impressive Algerian international Yacine Brahimi according to Le10Sport.

The French born Granada midfielder is said to be keen on securing a high-profile move this summer and his efforts at the 2014 World Cup finals will have gone some way to helping the 24 year old securing his goal.

The pacy flair player has impressed during his nation’s run from the group stage and into the last 16 and White Hart Lane boss Mauricio Pochettino is sufficiently impressed to consider the former Rennes man as a possible summer target.

Brahimi was a huge success at French Under 19 level, netting 11 goals in 25 appearances, and also represented France at Under 21 level before switching to Algeria.

Tottenham will have to meet the player’s €15m (£12m) release clause if they want to land Brahimi and a good showing against Germany may well help persuade Pochettino to make the pint midfielder his first signing of his reign in charge of the north London side.
