Goodison Park side chase Magpies outcast.
Everton are reportedly keen on landing Newcastle United winger Hatem Ben Arfa according to TuttoMercato.
The 27 year old looks set for a St James’ Park exit having been snubbed by Alan Pardew over the summer, his number ten shirt also having been handed to new signing Siem de Jong, and a move to Goodison Park may well interest the former Marseille man.
Ben Arfa is well known as a player with obvious ability though is one of the most inconsistent performers in the game though Toffees boss Roberto Martinez may feel he can get the most out of the French international.
Newcastle United signed Ben Arfa, initially on a loan deal, back in the summer of 2010 and he has gone on to score 14 goals in 86 appearances.
Last term Ben Arfa made just 13 Premier League starts, with another 14 appearances from the bench, and has lost his place in the French national team set-up as a result and a move to join Everton, who have Europa League to offer, could help resurrect his career.
