Raheem Sterling admitted he had to Google both Ricky Gervais and Ricky Villa
During Sunday’s 3-0 Premier League triumph against Tottenham Hotspur the 19-year-old made a great run before messing up the finish.
Rodgers joked that Sterling made the run like Villa, but shot like Gervais, something that was wasted on the teenage star.
“At first when I was told what he said I didn’t even understand it. But I typed both names in so I know what he meant now,” the forward was quoted by the Daily Express.
