3) The return of Daniel Sturridge
Liverpool have looked poor in comparison to their last fantastic season and that could be in large part due to the absence of Daniel Sturridge.
The Englishman was arguably just as important to Brendan Rodgers’ side last season as the recently departed Luis Suarez and his injury has left them with a distinct lack of firepower upfront.
With most of the side not really performing well enough, it’s not even clear whether Sturridge will be the solution.
He will however go a long way to improving what has been a disappointing Reds side this term.
