Fabio Borini thinks he should be partnering Balotelli in attack
As a fellow Italy international Borini believes that the best thing for Rodgers to do would be to partner him and the ex-Citizens man upfront.
The summer arrival of Rickie Lambert and Balotelli means the Reds now have four options in attack – including Daniel Sturridge – but the 23-year-old knows what partnership he would got for.
“I have played with him before and found it really well on the pitch. Not just because of the language but we were born with the same idea of football, as Italians, so it’s really easy to understand each other even without talking,” Borini was quoted by the Independent.
