The rivalry between the two football fans goes on.
Comedian and self-styled anti-establishment revolutionary Russell Brand has light-heartedly goaded famous Manchester City fan Noel Gallagher ahead of today’s game.
The clubs meet in today’s early kickoff, and Brand, quoted in the Manchester Evening News, is high on confidence going into the game.
“It’s been a long time since I’ve been this confident going into a match against Man City and let me tell you, that’s not very confident, but I think it’s interesting that Noel Gallagher hasn’t got the balls to come to the game.”
Brand also tweeted this photo of him in claret and blue:

Brand has every right to have hope ahead of the game. While City’s Sergio Aguero is in red hot form, West Ham are doing well in their own right. They beat Burnley and QPR in their last two fixtures, and defeated Liverpool a month ago.
Noel Gallagher, perhaps waiting for the result of the game, has yet to reply to Brand’s teasing.
