Gary Lineker blasts former club Tottenham over their woeful form…
Former England star Gary Lineker has criticised his old club, Tottenham Hotspur, for their performances following involvement in European competitions.
The London club consistently under perform following their forays into Europe, and this weekend was no different as they crashed to defeat against Stoke.
Lineker branded them “useless” after their latest display, and it’s something Mauricio Pochettino needs to work on.
I see Spurs are maintaining their consistency. Consistently useless following Europa League trips.

Despite a stunning late goal from Nacer Chadli, Tottenham were unable to do anything against a dominant Stoke side.
This latest loss at White Hart Lane has left the North London club in a disastrous 12th, and just five points above the relegation zone.
If the Argentine boss doesn’t do something soon he could find himself in serious trouble, with Daniel Levy not known for sticking with managers who don’t meet his standards.
With Pochettino’s old club Southampton performing far above expectations in the Premier League this season, perhaps Levy is beginning to feel like he appointed the wrong man?
