Kramaric is eyeing up a Blues switch.

There is good news for Chelsea in their pursuit of HNK Rijeka forward Andrej Kramaric as the 23-year-old is said to prefer the Blues ahead of Juventus, according to the Calciomercato.

Leicester City previously showed interest in Kramaric and placed a €10m bid for his services, but the Foxes would be lucky to sign him now since interest has increased.

Both Juve and the West Londoners are looking to bring the Croatia international to their respective clubs after his impressive performances for club and country in recent times.

The attacker has two goals in four games for the national team since earning his first cap for the country in September of this year.

With 28 goals in just 29 appearances for Rijeka this season as well it’s easy to see why Kramaric has been attracting so much attention.

Whether Jose Mourinho needs another striker though is the next question, with Diego Costa, Didier Drogba and Loic Remy all currently at Stamford Bridge.

However, Drogba is 36-years-old and only signed a one-year deal in the summer, meaning the Ivorian could well hang up his boots at the end of the campaign and move into a much talked about coaching role.

Therefore a spot could open up for Kramaric under Mourinho next summer.
