Etihad Stadium side look to find buyers for strike duo.
Man City are readying moves to offload Alvaro Negredo and Stevan Jovetic to help make way for new addition Wilfried Bony according to the Daily Mail.
Whilst clearly the Premier League title holders don’t have financial issues and could happily fork out the £30m needed to sign Swansea City ace Bony without having to sell players to cover the cost but no doubt moves to secure sales are with a view to adhering to UEFA FFP (Financial Fair Play) guidelines.
Spanish international Negredo is currently on loan at Valencia and the La Liga side have a deal in place to bring in the forward in a £25m deal.
Jovetic cost Man City £22m in July 2013 and has by and large been a bit-part player and has made just 10 Premier League starts over the past 18 months and has performed well when called upon and if Bony is to be signed then the Montenegrin international can expect to continue to be down Manuel Pellegrini’s pecking order and may well be open to leaving the club in that case.
