Augustin is considered one of the best young strikers in Ligue 1, however hasn’t been given a chance under manager Laurent Blanc, with the teen yet to make an appearance under the current boss.
With the youngster’s contract up in the summer, a January transfer could be on the cards with a number of top European clubs, including Serie A giants Juventus, interested.
While the teenager will be available for free in the summer when his current contract expires, Sam Allardyce is eager to bring more talent to the side to improve the Hammers’ current league run further, and is keen on nurturing young talent – making Augustin an ideal target.
