The 26 year old Brazilian cost the White Hart Lane side £17m in the summer of 2013 and had a decent debut season at the north London club but is clearly not part of Mauricio Pochettino’s plans having failed to start a single fixture this season.
Juventus are keen to strengthen this month having seen their Serie A title aspirations severely tested by AS Roma and Paulinho is too good a player to be left warming the bench.
Pochettino has elected to most commonly used Ryan Mason, Nabil Bentaleb and Etienne Capoue as his central midfield options and could see the sale of Paulinho as a good way to bump his transfer fund pot.
Chairman Daniel Levy would certainly demand a big fee for Paulinho, a sum as close to that which they paid Corinthians as possible.
