According to reports in the Mirror, Ukraine international, Yevhen Konoplyanka could be about to make a move to Serie A side AS Roma as a Dnipro general director claimed that the two clubs had been in talks over the transfer .
This will no doubt come as a blow to both Everton and Tottenham Hotspur who had recently been outed as potential suitors for the winger according to reports, again in the Mirror
The news that the Dnipro man is set to move has come as a surprise following ESPN‘s claims that Konoplyanka was to stay at the Ukrainian club until the summer at least, when his contract is due to expire and he would be allowed to leave on a free transfer.
The winger made a name for himself with a string of impressive performances for his country, including scoring a long range goal against England at Wembley in a 2014 World Cup Qualifier in September 2012.
