If that’s Lennon happy, you’d hate to see him sad.

Roberto Martinez has said Everton will change the photographer who took the now viral snaps of Aaron Lennon looking particularly glum after his deadline day loan move from Tottenham Hotspur.

Club supporters were left questioning whether the winger actually wanted to move to Goodison Park after a series of shots released by the club showed Lennon with a stern look on his face and produced an incredible online reaction.

The photographer, Peter Byrne, isn’t employed by Everton on a permanent basis and Martinez says the club will definitely be changing the man behind the lens in the future.

“I blame the photographer,” said Martinez, reports Daily Mail.

“It’s your job to make him smile. I’ll change the photographer.

“I saw a different face, I saw a focused face.

“It’s great to see how Aaron has adjusted to training because it’s very difficult in January to find someone up to speed with his fitness.”

Lennon himself took to social media to poke fun at the snaps but insisted he was glad to be joining the Toffees.
