Tottenham Hotspur player ratings vs Manchester United: Walker woeful & Kane lacking decent service

Posted by

Nabil Bentaleb – 6

Had very little impact on the match and will be disappointed. Should have been sweeping up second balls and could have probably prevented such a collapse in the first half, especially with his mistake for Rooney’s goal.

Ryan Mason – 5 (Lamela 64′)

The former Swindon Town loanee will have hoped he could have disrupted the Red Devils’ midfield more than he did in a game where he seemed absent

Andros Townsend – 4 (Dembele 31′)

A shambolic display from the winger who will know how dismally bad he was having been hauled off so early. Any gameplan Pochettino sent the team out with was clearly ignored by the England international as he contributed nothing.

Christian Eriksen – 6

Saw little of the ball and as a result couldn’t be the influential playmaker he so often is for his side. Didn’t add any energy or ball retention into midfield when he desperately needed it.

Nacer Chadli  – 5 (Adebayor 81′)

Invisible for long periods of the match, much like a lot of his team-mates and will be bitterly disappointed as his performance having had a pretty good season so far.
