After Atlas and Chivas declared earlier this week that they will not tolerate violence during this weekend’s Guadalajara Clasico, Atlas used their official Twitter account to report a pseudo-fan who is promoting aggression at the game.

Atlas shared a photo of the fan who is encouraging his fellow supporters to attack Chivas supporters on their Twitter account.
“This person does NOT represent our fans, we want a Clasico without violence,” reads their tweet.

Ahead of the match, which takes place on Sunday afternoon, it is expected that the city of Guadalajara will deploy about 1,200 policemen. They will work together with the Public Safety department from Mexico City to try to prevent any aggression, thus marking the first time federal authorities will collaborate with a local government to prevent violence in a football match.
In last year’s Clasico, Chivas fans started a big fight amongst themselves in the last minute of the game, attacking several policemen in the process. You can see clips from that fight in the video below.
