Etihad Stadium star set for San Siro switch?
Man City star Yaya Toure appears to be heading to Inter Milan if reports in the Metro are to be believed.
Inter Milan will offer £5.7m for the 31 year old, which seems a fairly tiny sum for a player of the Ivorian’s quality, and the Etihad Stadium star has apparently already agreed terms on a four year contract with the Serie A side said to be worth £12.8m.
The Metro claims that Man City are keen on revamp their aging squad but that doesn’t seem a good enough reason to accept such a paltry sum for a player who is clearly still capable of great things.
Last term proved to be Toure’s best to date, the former Barcelona man bagging 20 Premier League goals, and whilst this season the midfield powerhouse hasn’t hit the same heights he is still a key member of Manuel Pellegrini’s squad.
